Replacing a leaky gutter: an easy project

Step 1: Prepare the material
Before starting your project, you need to make sure you have all the necessary materials. You will need the following tools:
- A ladder
- Protective gloves
- A screwdriver
- A hammer
- A spirit level
- A hacksaw
- Cutting pliers
- A measuring tape
- Screws and bolts
- Gutter sheet
Step 2: Prepare the work area
Once you have gathered all the materials you need, you need to prepare the work area. Be sure to protect yourself by wearing gloves and eye protection. You will also need to make sure that the ladder is stable and that you are safe when working.
Step 3: Remove the gutter
Once you’re ready, you can start removing the tray. Use a screwdriver to remove the bolts holding the gutter in place. Once all the bolts are removed, you can remove the gutter and set it aside.
Step 4: Install the new gutter
Now that the gutter is removed, you can install the new gutter. Use a tape measure to measure the length of the gutter and cut the gutter sheet to size. Use a hacksaw to cut the gutter sheet. Once the sheet metal is cut, you can install it using screws and bolts. Be sure to tighten the bolts securely to prevent the gutter from coming loose.
Step 5: Check alignment
Once the gutter is installed, you need to check the alignment. Use a spirit level to make sure the gutter is properly aligned. If the gutter is out of alignment, you may need to readjust it using screws and bolts.
